John Fogerty’s Legendary Baseball Bat-Shaped Guitar Restored After Surviving Tennessee Floods

On July 25th, following the induction ceremonies for the Baseball Hall of Fame, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, John Fogerty will have his legendary baseball bat-shaped guitar put on display and be part of the exhibit at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum.

He wouldnt realize it until much later, but one day in 1961 Paul Johnson created a new musical genre. Hed been playing guitar for only a year. Johnson was a freshman at Bishop Montgomery High School, and in the process of messing around with his new Stratocaster, he wrote a song called Mr. Moto.
