Tarantino and his influences at Siskel

A summerlong Quentin Tarantino retrospective can be found at the Siskel Film Center, with double bills through the end of August. This week's pairing features "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" (2003) and "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" (2004) a rare chance to see both films on the big screen in a single sitting although most weeks spotlight a Tarantino film alongside an older movie that influenced his work.

The Roycroft Chamber Music Festival has been held at St. Matthias Episcopal Church on Main Street in East Aurora since 1994, but for the first time last year one of the four concerts that make up the festival was held across the street at Baker Memorial Methodist Church.
