While in Washington state on family business last week, I swung into the Seattle Art Museum to see something exceedingly rare: real drawings by Michelangelo.

Time to get your southern-fried zombie-butchering groove on with the Left 4 Dead 2 demo, available now to Xbox 360 gamers who pre-ordered the game, though the Windows version's been delayed a hair to Wednesday. The demo pits up to four players against moldering hordes of undead in the first two levels of the cajun-themed New Orleans "Parish" campaign.

A teenage folk singer hailed as a rising star in Canada has been mauled to death by two coyotes while hiking alone in woods during a solo tour. The attack took place as Taylor Mitchell, 19, was walking on a trail in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park in Nova Scotia.
